Marrakech hosts the 5th edition of the International Single Window Conference and Exhibition_from 5 to 7 September 2016

The African Alliance for Electronic Commerce in partnership with the Moroccan Single Window (PORTNET), organizes the 5th edition of the International Single Window Conference from 5 to 7 September 2016 at “Palais des Congrès” of Marrakech, Kingdom of Morocco.

The theme of this 5th edition is: ” Electronic Single Window for Foreign Trade: The requirement for an inclusive cooperation”.

The Conference will provide a platform for bringing together key partners from Single Window, Customs administrations, relevant Agencies and Ministries, Regional Economic Communities, Private Sector, International Organizations, development partners. It will allow sharing experiences and conducting strategic discussions on many topics of relevance for facilitating, simplifying and securing the movement of information, goods and people across borders.

Peer- Review and progress assessment workshops for

the benchmarking of single window for trade

8-11 September, 2014, Douala, Cameroon.

The African Alliance for Electronic Commerce is organizing, in partnership with the World Bank, an international workshop on the impact of single windows on the performance of passage of goods across ports and on the trade facilitation in general, from the 08th to the 9th of September 2014 at Hotel SAWA, Douala, Cameroon.

This international workshop will be organized, following a set of the led studies on African harbor places having a single window. The aforementioned workshop will gather African single window main operators, as well as the exchanges facilitation main actors.

The World Bank will organize on the sidelines, a second workshop in the same venue, from September 10th to 11th, 2014. Its topic will focus on the link between the implementation of Bali agreement and Single Window concept. You are also invited.

L’Alliance Africaine pour le Commerce Electronique organise, en partenariat avec la Banque Mondiale, un atelier international portant sur l’impact des guichets uniques sur la performance du passage des marchandises dans les ports et sur la facilitation du commerce en général.

Cet atelier prévu du 08 au 09 septembre 2014, à Douala, Cameroun, fait à suite une série d’études menées sur des places portuaires africaines disposant de Guichet Unique. Cet événement réunira les principaux opérateurs de Guichet unique en Afrique ainsi que les acteurs de la facilitation des échanges.

La Banque Mondiale organise sur le même site, un deuxième atelier les 10 et 11 septembre 2014, et dont le thème portera sur le lien entre la mise en œuvre de l’accord de Bali et les Guichets Uniques.  Vous y êtes également invités.
